Computer hardware giant, Dell Inc., announced on Monday that it is working together with Sprint Nextel to offer cellular broadband service to users of Dell notebook computers.

Beginning this week, U.S. customers will be able to customize select Dell notebooks to include Sprint’s mobile internet technology, allowing them to wirelessly access the internet, email, and other data services, without need of a wireless hotspot.

Sprint Nextel’s EV-DO-based wireless broadband service is currently available in more than 220 urban markets and 486 airports throughout the United States, and is quickly evolving into one of the most convenient and portable ways for laptop users to access the web.
