Orlando-based VoIP Inc. is continuing with efforts to built its own nationwide IP telephony network, completing its first phase of national infrastructure development.
VoIP Inc. subsidiary, Volo Communications, has added new locations in New York, Massachusetts, Florida, and Georgia, extending its services to over 50 million households in those areas. The company already has a significant user base scattered throughout the United States, but much of this traffic is distributed over the networks of other carriers.
VoIP Inc.’s second phase of expansion is already underway, and will likely see the company’s in-house network extended to reach customers in New Jersey, Texas, and California.
