Retail giant, Wal-Mart, has agreed to begin reselling AT&T’s DSL internet service in 570 stores across the telecom giant’s 13-state footprint.

“Wal-Mart has millions of consumers and potential customers going through their doors on a regular basis,” commented AT&T’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rick Welday, noting that his company aims to be “easy to do business with, by being where the people are.”

The Wal-Mart partnership brings the total number of retail outlets selling AT&T’s telephone, broadband, video, and wireless services to a total of around 4,000.
