T-Mobile USA Launches BlackBerry Pearl in White
7:00 am on January 16, 2007 | Category: Email, Mobile Devices, Multimedia
T-Mobile USA has just become the first carrier to launch a BlackBerry wireless email device in a color other than black.
The company announced yesterday that the Research In Motion’s only multimedia-capable mobile device, the BlackBerry Pearl, will now be available in a white casing.
The Pearl was launched in the U.S. and Canada last fall (in black), and is the first BlackBerry to play music and videos. It also boasts a built-in microSD card slot and a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, two other BlackBerry firsts.
Potential buyers will be happy to know that the white BlackBerry Pearl will boast all the same features as its black counterpart, and will retain the same price of around $150 after rebates and discounts.
