Software giant, Microsoft, unveiled the latest version of its Windows operating system for mobile devices last week, adding a number of new features while tweaking the platform’s look and feel to resemble the recently launched Windows Vista.

Windows Mobile 6, as the new operating system is called, will bring features like HTML email, multi-window instant messaging, and seamless MS Office documenting to Windows-based mobile devices.

Microsoft will release Windows Mobile 6 during the second quarter of this year, in hopes of meeting its ambitious goal of doubling the operating system’s user base this year and next.
