Mozilla Releases Security Updates for Firefox and Thunderbird

The Mozilla Corporation has released a new security upgrade to fix a number of critical flaws Firefox 1.5, 2.0, and the Thunderbird email software.
Firefox and Thunderbird users running Windows, Mac OS, or Linux can download the updates by clicking the “Check for Updates†button in the Firefox Help menu.
“This update resolves the location.hostname vulnerability and other stability issues,†explained Mozilla’s vice president of engineering, Mike Schroepfer. “Thanks to the work of our contributers we have been able to address these issues quickly in order to minimize the security risk to Firefox users.â€
“Due to the security fixes, we strongly recommend that all Firefox users upgrade to these latest releases,†the open source software developer said in a statement on its corporate website.
