The high-definition versions of ABC Family, the Disney Channel, Toon Disney, and ESPNEWS will be joining DirecTV’s lineup of satellite television programming, after the popular pay-TV provider reached a content agreement with ESPN Media Networks.

DirecTV did not specify a launch date for ABC Family HD, but did say that they other three high-definition channels should be available to its customers in early 2008.

ESPN’s 24-hour Spanish language sports channel, ESPN Deportes, is also covered by the deal, and should be available on DirecTV later this month.
