America’s top telecom provider, AT&T Inc., is offering unlimited access to its nationwide network Wi-Fi hotspots, as a free perk for its DSL internet subscribers.

AT&T’s Wi-Fi network consists of almost 10,000 hotspots in airports, coffee shops, McDonald’s restaurants, and Barnes & Noble bookstores across the United States. The convenience of free internet access at such a wide range of remote locations is expected to give AT&T a new competitive edge in the American broadband market.
