Vyke Communications has reached an agreement with Wi-Fi operator, The Cloud, that will give its users access to VoIP calling services within any Cloud-operated wireless hotspot in Europe.

Beginning this summer, Vyke Mobile IP customers will be able to enjoy seamless wireless voice service via any of The Cloud’s 9,000 hotspots, including 16 high-density urban networks covering downtown areas of London, Manchester, Amsterdam, and other cities.

“Combined with Vyke’s mobile VoIP service, The Cloud’s wireless network represents a shift in the mobile telecoms paradigm,” commented Vyke’s executive vice president of Sales, Jan Christian Berger. “Access to city wide Wi-Fi zones means that Vyke users living or working in these areas will be able to access low cost mobile VoIP communication services at virtually any point during their day-to-day lives.”

“The power behind our relationship with The Cloud will be evident as users in these areas realize that they always have a low cost alternative available,” Berger concluded.
