The world’s leading handset maker, Nokia, has unveiled two new handset models, the Prism 7500 and 7900, both of which feature a diamond-cut design with geometric patterns and “graphic light-refracting color.”

The Prism 7500 is a standard GSM phone with a 512MB MicroSD memory card, 2-megapixel digital camera, and integrated video recorder.

The feature-rich Prism 7900, meanwhile, boasts a 16 million-colour OLED display, complete with a nifty “living wallpaper” feature that gradually changes the screen’s background colours depending on signal strength, battery life, and time of day. It comes with dual-band 3G data technology and quad-band GSM capability for global roaming use, as well as 1GB of on-board memory and a 2-megapixel digital camera.

Both Nokia Prism phones are set for availability this fall, although specific launch dates have not yet been announced. The 7500 and 7900 devices are expected to sell for €210 and €400, respectively.
