Alcatel-Lucent Signs Network Optimization Contracts with Chinese Carriers

Globally active telecom equipment maker, Alcatel-Lucent, has won network optimization contracts with China’s two leading wireless carriers, China Mobile and China Unicom.

China Mobile’s regional subsidiaries in the provinces of Shanghai, Guizhou, and Shanxi have signed deals with Paris-based Alcatel-Lucent, as has China Unicom’s unit in Innfer Mongolia province.

All four projects are expected to be completed by the end of this year. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
