Despite the growing popularity of internet video downloads, it seems that a large majority of users are dissatisfied with the next-generation medium.

Only 21% of users are “generally satisfied” with the videos they download, according to a recent Parks Associates survey involving 13,000 respondents in 13 countries. Just 16% of those surveyed answered “yes” when asked if “the qualify of the videos I have downloaded from the internet is very good.”

Furthermore, just 16% of respondents were happy with the selection of online videos available, and a mere 13% were satisfied with the price of video downloads.

The Parks survey referred only to downloadable videos, and not streaming or web-embedded video services.
