Dutch cable and internet provider, UPC Nederland, announced on Monday that it would soon roll-out the Sling Media’s remote DVR product, the Slingbox, to its Digital TV subscribers in the Netherlands.
The Slingbox will allow UPC customers to remotely watch TV content, or record programming onto a home DVR from a remote location, using a broadband internet connection.
UPC Nederland is a division of Europe’s largest cable company, Liberty Global Europe, which usually does business under the United Pan-Europe Communications (UPC) brand name.
