America Movil Users Gain Access to Yahoo oneSearch Service

Internet giant, Yahoo, has agreed to make its mobile services available to millions of America Movil customers in sixteen countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

This agreement will make Yahoo’s mobile search product, oneSearch, the default search service on America Movil’s mobile internet portals. Customers will be able to find relevant search results and one-click answers using the service, and gain access to up-to-date news, weather reports, financial information, and flicr photos on their mobile phones.

In the months to come, Yahoo will customize and deploy localized versions of the oneSearch service for each distinct region, and will work together with America Movil to make more Yahoo services available on mobile devices in Latin America.
