Hong Kong Reports 1.86-Million Broadband Connections

Licensed Internet Service Providers in Hong Kong had a total of 1.86 million high-speed internet subscribers at the end of October, according to new data from the Chinese protectorate’s telecom regulator, Ofta.

The statistics were broken down into 1.7 million residential broadband users, and 151,506 enterprise-level customers. Ofta also counted 953,128 subscribers using dialup (narrowband) connections.
