Pipex Launches Business Broadband Services

British broadband provider, Pipex, has introduced a range of high-speed internet service for small to medium-sized enterprise customers.

The company’s business-grade ADSL2+ offering comes in a variety of plans, ranging from Pipex Lite costing £14.50/month plus VAT, to the Premium+ service at £49/month plus VAT. Maximum download speeds range from 8-Mbps to 16-Mbps, and all customers benefit from guaranteed minimum bandwidth.

“The need for service reliability and quality support could not be more important for this sector,” said Pipex’s product and marketing director, Lance Spencer, in London last Thursday.

Only 23% of British small businesses currently use enterprise-grade broadband connections, according to Spencer, and over 40% still connect at 2-Mbps or below.
