Cincinnati Bell Inc. boosted the size of its growing Dayton, Ohio business this week when it agreed to acquire CenturyTel’s operations in the city, at a cost of $1.5 million.

The deal includes 328 access lines for small and medium-sized enterprise customers, as well as key fiber-optic infrastructure in the city.

CenturyTel’s customer relationships and networks are “an excellent fit with Cincinnati Bell’s strong operations in Dayton,” according to Bell’s general manager for the Dayton market, Mark Lundahl.
