America’s biggest telecom operator, AT&T, has made good on a promise to offer an online photo feature, powered by Yahoo’s Flickr, as part of its U-verse IPTV service.

The new “AT&T Online Photos” feature allows users to watch slide shows and browse images from flickr.com right on their U-verse TV screens.

“Because of the powerful integration that Internet Protocol (IP) enables, we’re able to bring customers’ online photos to their TV, without any hassle,” commented AT&T’s executive director of U-verse marketing, Brian Buffington.

Subscribers with both U-verse TV and AT&T broadband can now access their Flickr accounts via channel 91 in the U-verse TV lineup.
