AT&T’s MediaFLO-based mobile television service will be available beginning May 4, starting at $13 a month, according to a recent article on BoyGeniusReport.com, citing an anonymous source within the telecom giant.
The $13/month plan will include four major network TV channels (Fox Mobile, CBS Mobile, NBC, and NBC News), while a slightly more expensive $15/month option will come with these four channels, plus Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, CNN Mobile and ESPN. A third plan costing $30/month will reportedly include an exclusive movie channel from Sony Pictures.
BoyGenius also reports that parental controls will be available on both the LG Vu and Samsung Access, the two handsets initially compatible with the Mobile TV service.
