Verizon Launches Unlimited Mobile Web and Email Plan

Verizon Wireless is extending its selection of unlimited wireless plans, offering unlimited mobile internet and email access to business smartphone users for just $29.99 per month.
For this flat monthly rate, enterprise users are able to tap into as many as 10 email accounts hosted by a variety of web mail services, including Yahoo, AOL, and Windows Live. Unlimited mobile web browsing is also included.
“Customers using Email and Web on their Smartphones can use these tools to stay on top of news from their favorite Internet sites or remotely and seamlessly interact with friends or clients via e-mail,” commented Robert Miller, the VP of marketing for Verizon Wireless.
The only major disadvantage to this service is a lack of support for Microsoft Exchange servers, which may be a deal breaker for certain business customers.
Verizon Wireless is currently offering the plan on its SMT5800 and XV6800 smartphones, as well as on the Motorola Q9m device, and plans to support additional smartphones in the coming months. It is not applicable to RIM’s BlackBerry devices, which already have their own voice and data plans.

When are you covering the interior region in Alaska? We are tired of being tied down to the phoneline at home. The cordless can only reach 100 feet.
