Yellow Pages Group launched a new application for Facebook this week, promising to connect internet users with local businesses.
Facebook users can now download the YellowPages.caâ„¢ application to find, rate and review businesses, build lists of their favourite restaurants and shops, and share these lists with their Facebook friends. The new application also features quick access to business profile information, including maps and driving directions.
“We are pleased to offer this interactive and easy-to-use application to Facebook users,” said Jean-Pascal Lion, Yellow Pages Group’s Vice President – Marketing. “By connecting YellowPages.ca’s business listings to over 70 million active Facebook users, we are taking our mission of finding the best seller for each buyer to a whole new level.”
Facebook is a social utility that helps people communicate and share information efficiently. Millions of Facebook users return to the site each day, providing unparalleled distribution potential for the application and the opportunity to be highly relevant to people’s lives.
