Verizon Communications hopes to beef up its FiOS TV subscriber base this week, by providing new customers with 90 days of free access to its 45-channel movie package.

The “Summer Movie Pass,” which also includes four free Video On Demand selections, will apply to new FiOS TV customers who sign up between June 16 and June 19. The FiOS movie package includes content from Showtime Networks, Starz Entertainment, The Movie Channel, Encore, Sundance Channel, and IFC, and normally costs an additional $14.99 per month.

Verizon’s latest promotion is likely designed to maintain subscriber growth this quarter, despite a jump in the price of certain FiOS services.

    2. At press time, this offer was only available until June 19. However you may want to call Verizon and ask just in case the offer was extended…
