Internet media giant, AOL, has relaunched its two-year-old video portal, expanding integration with other AOL-owned websites, including AOL Music, AOL Television, and GameDaily.

The new portal features a relevant video finder, allowing users to locate videos that may appeal to their individual tastes. It also creates new opportunities for advertisers, setting the stage for contextual ad placement and sponsorships of video channels.

“The redesigned AOL Video portal builds upon what we’ve learned is the critical importance of combining industry-leading technology with a unique, easy-to-navigate user experience,” said AOL EVP Kevin Conroy in a statement. “As video usage continues to skyrocket, we’re excited to offer consumers a compelling all-in-one destination for accessing their favorite clips and shows, while now also providing new community features that help viewers discover and share additional relevant programming.”

The new site is the first of its kind to feature content syndication deals with all four of America’s leading broadcast networks, as well as MTV, Discovery Networks, ESPN, and others.
