American telecom giant, AT&T Inc., has launched its U-verse TV service in Wichita, the largest city in the state of Kansas.

Customers in select neighborhoods of Wichita can now bundle digital television with the AT&T’s high-speed internet, home telephone, and wireless services, all on a single monthly bill.

U-verse TV will become available throughout the city as AT&T’s fiber-optic network expands, according to Kris Ryan, the carrier’s general manager for Missouri and Kansas.

“Wichita customers are finally getting a better choice to break free from cable,” Ryan said in a news release.

U-verse TV, which already has 549,000 subscribers throughout AT&T’s U.S. footprint, comes with upwards of 45 high-definition channels, Video On Demand options, and the ability to access interactive traffic reports, weather forecasts, sports highlights, and stock quotes.
