AT&T, the exclusive U.S. carrier for the Apple iPhone, has announced two new wireless data plans for iPhone users who travel abroad.

Although still rather expensive, the new plans should save money for frequent international travelers, who previously faced large and unpredictable wireless bills when roaming on foreign mobile data networks.

Customers can now purchase 100MB of international data at a monthly cost of $120, or 200MB at a monthly cost of $200.

Fortunately, these costly plans are available on a month-to-month basis (with no contract), and apply to mobile data use in 67 countries.
