Enterprise broadband provider, XO Communications, announced yesterday that it has expanded its Ethernet infrastructure to allow for greater service availability and more speed options in several major U.S. cities.

XO’s business and wholesale customers can now order bandwidth speeds of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 200, 300, 400, or 500-Mbps at locations with direct access to the company’s fiber-optic network. Locations served by XO’s last-mile copper network can get bandwidth of 15 or 20-Mbps.

The new speed tiers are initially available in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, San Jose, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., and will be extended to all of XO’s markets early next year.
