AT&T is giving its U-verse TV subscribers greater access to local weather information, by adding an interactive on-screen weather application, in partnership with AccuWeather.com.
The new application is initially available in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Indianapolis, and San Diego, and will be extended to other markets in the months to come.
Subscribers can access the service via channel 227 on U-verse television, then input zip codes to view local weather conditions (including high/low temperatures, humidity, wind speeds, visibility, and barometric pressure), local and national weather forecasts, regional and national radar and satellite views, and videos of meteorologists presenting local weather updates.
