Mobile software developer, Makayama, has launched a new ‘Television’ application for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch users, allowing them to download pre-recorded content from a number of TV networks.
The application costs just $2.99 and comes with programming from 30 channels, including CNN, NBC, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, BBC, SKY, and ITV, as well as networks from Germany and France.
The Television application offers high-quality audio and video playback via any Wi-Fi internet connection. Its value is limited, however, in that all of the programming that is offered is already available for free on the web.
Full details about the Television application are available at Makayama’s website.
