Canadian cell phone carrier, Bell Mobility, is planning to launch a CDMA version of the Palm Centro device on February 2.

This affordable touchscreen smartphone comes equipped with a built-in MP3 player, mobile email capability, and a 1.3-megapixel digital camera. Bell will sell the device for just $49.95 (with a three year contract), as part of a limited-time promotional offer.

A GSM-based Palm Centro has been available through Canada’s leading carrier, Rogers Wireless, since June 2008.
