Rogers Wireless Launches Nokia E71 Smartphone in Canada

Canada’s largest cell phone carrier, Rogers Wireless, has added the Nokia E71 smartphone to its product lineup.

At a thickness of just 10-millimeters, the E71 slimmest device ever sold by Rogers. It features a built-in QWERTY keyboard, GPS navigation technology, and a 3.2-megapixel digital camera with auto-focus and flash.

In terms of memory, the device has 110 MB of internal storage as well as a MicroSD slot for external memory cards. It runs on Symbian Operating System v. 9.2, and comes preloaded with personal and business email software, an HTML web browser, and a mobile music player.

Rogers is now selling the E71 smartphone for $99.99 on a three-year voice and data contract. The price increases to $374.99 on a two-year plan, $399.99 on a one-year plan, or $449.99 with no contract.
