Canadian cell phone carrier, Bell Mobility, has launched a new slider handset called the Samsung Vice, providing customers with a healthy array of data and messaging features at a retail cost of just $49.95 on a three-year wireless contract.

“Samsung’s Vice is the ultimate tool for text-happy Canadians,” commented Paul Brannen, general manager of Samsung Canada’s wireless terminals division. “This fun and affordable handset addresses the unique needs of those who enjoy staying connected through social networking sites, instant messaging, mobile browsing, email, and texting.”

The new phone comes equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and 3G mobile data connectivity, as well an HTML browser and plenty of wireless messaging software.
