Canadian cell phone carrier, Rogers Wireless, has begun selling Sony Ericsson’s C905 Cyber-shot phone, the country’s most powerful camera phone to date.

Described as a “camera that happens to also have a phone,” the C905 boasts a record-setting 8.1-megapixel resolution, as well as a range of advanced imaging features, including face detection, image stabilization, and Xenon flash that automatically adjusts according to light conditions.

The C905 comes with a 2GB memory card, and is capable of supporting up to 8GB of expanded memory. Users can send their photos wirelessly using either 3G or Wi-Fi (both of which are built into the phone).

This top-of-the-line camera phone is now available for $249.99 on a three-year Rogers Wireless contract.
