Verizon Wireless to Offer BlackBerry Pearl Flip, Beginning June 19

American cell phone giant, Verizon Wireless has announced plans to launch Research In Motion’s clamshell smartphone, the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, beginning on June 19.
Verizon will follow T-Mobile and Alltel in offering the Pearl Flip, which features 3G wireless connectivity, a spacious SureType keyboard, and a 2-megapixel digital camera.
Verizon’s Pearl Flip will sell for $129.99, after a $70 mail-in rebate, on a two year wireless contract.
In Canada, the BlackBerry Pearl Flip is offered by both Rogers Wireless and Bell Mobility.
