Palm Pre Trails iPhone 3GS in Customer Satisfaction and Retention
1:31 pm on August 19, 2009 | Category: Mobile Devices, Cell PhonesThe Palm Pre smartphone is “exchanged due to problems” by 11% of consumers, according to a new survey by ChangWave Research.
The findings support the conclusion that the Pre’s return rate is higher than that of the Apple iPhone (7%), but refute previous unscientific surveys suggesting that the Pre was exchanged by as many as 40% of buyers.
Overall customer satisfaction with the Palm Pre is still considerably lower than that of the Apple iPhone with only 45% of consumers describing themselves as “very satisfied” with their purchase. Among iPhone 3GS users, the number of “very satisfied” customers is an impressive 82%.
