Research In Motion has released an updated version of its mobile software marketplace, BlackBerry App World.

App World 1.1 comes with a number of convenient upgrades, including the ability to view the top-25 lists of free and paid software while searching for applications, and improved search precision, allowing users to filter results by date, price, popularity, and relevance.

The new version of App World also makes it possible to archive downloaded and purchased applications onto a microSD card, allowing BlackBerry devices to make use of more software than their internal memory would allow.
