Navigon has released an updated version of its MobileNavigation GPS app for Apple iPhone devices, hoping to stay ahead of the competition with a new ‘text-to-speech’ feature.

MobileNavigator 1.2.0 now gives driving directions with actual street names, rather than simply instructing the user to ‘turn right’ or ‘turn left. Another impressive new feature is automatic switching between day and night modes based on time and location.

Navigon’s new and improved application is currently available for $89.99 in the iTunes App Store.
