Vonage Application Accepted into iTunes App Store
7:02 pm on September 6, 2009 | Category: VoIP, Cell Phones, Software
Broadband phone provider, Vonage, revived optimism in its business model last week, announcing that its forthcoming software application had been accepted into Apple’s popular iTunes App Store.
Vonage didn’t released many details about its mobile application, except to say that it is being beta tested for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and that availability details will be offered at a later date.
The application “continues Vonage’s heritage of using innovative technology to create significant value for its current and future customers,” the company said in a statement.
Vonage was a pioneer in the residential VoIP market but has slipped into relative obscurity in recent years amid intense competition and subscriber losses.
