Allerta Unveils inPulse Smartwatch for BlackBerry Devices

Canadian mobile accessories startup, Allerta, has unveiled its first product, the inPulse Smartwatch for BlackBerry devices.

The inPulse wristwatch works as a companion device for any smartphone running BlackBerry OS 4.3 or higher. It features a 1.3-inch colour OLED display, and uses Bluetooth 2.0 technology to pick up incoming emails, text messages, and calendar alerts, as they arrive on the BlackBerry itself.

Allerta is currently taking pre-orders for the inPulse, which is set to be available in February 2010, and costs $149.
