An updated version of the Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Bold device, the Bold 9700, could be available on two U.S. wireless networks in the near future, according to leaked information on Engadget.com today.
The 9700 model, which may be rebranded as the BlackBerry Bold 2, will reportedly feature a smaller body than its predecessor, as well as a trackpad for improved navigation. Other upgrades will include a more precise 3.2-megapixel digital camera, a 480×360 resolution, and a newer BlackBerry operating system.
If the Engadget tip is correct, the new BlackBerry Bold will be unveiled by both AT&T and T-Mobile USA on October 21. Exact availability and pricing details have yet to be leaked.
