Finnish cell phone giant, Nokia, has announced plans to release four new handsets in the Canadian market.

Most notable among the new devices is the Nokia N86 8MP, Nokia’s most powerful camera phone to date. It features a large sliding screen, HSDPA mobile data access, Wi-Fi, 8GB of internal memory, and of course, an 8-megapixel digital camera.

Also set to become available is a sleek candybar handset called the Nokia 2730 classic, as well as two 3G flip phones, the Nokia 6350 and 6750, both of which are already available in the U.S. through AT&T.

It’s not yet clear which companies will carry the new handsets in Canada, although Rogers and/or Fido are the most likely candidates.
