Bell Mobility Declares Samsung OMNIA II the ‘Official’ Olympic Smartphone

Bell Mobility has confirmed plans to offer Samsung’s OMNIA II smartphone in Canada, and announced that it will be the official mobile device of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
The OMNIA II features a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, on-screen QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel digital camera, and built-in Wi-Fi and HSPA chips for quick and easy mobile broadband access. The Canadian version will come with an Olympic decal and a free software application that will provide real-time information about the upcoming Games in Vancouver.
Bell Canada is a major sponsor (and exclusive telecommunications sponsor) of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
