Toronto-based local television channel, CP24, has launched a new version of its website customized for mobile devices.
The mobile site, which was introduced this morning, provides access to breaking news, as well as sports, entertainment, weather forecasts, and an exclusive “Beat the Traffic” feature that helps users map out the best routes to work. The site can also be personalized, allowing users to access the information that is most important to them.
“This unique service puts news at our viewers’ fingertips,” commented CP24 vice president and general manager, Bob McLaughlin. “CP24 is Toronto’s source for breaking news on the television, online, on the radio and now on your mobile device.”
Mobile device users can access the new site by entering http://www.cp24.com/ into their mobile browser.
