The popular online video website, Dailymotion, has introduced its own mobile software application for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
Dailymotion had already customized its site to work in Apple’s Safari browser, but the new application comes with a number of additional features, including search, 14 themed channels, and the ability to mark videos as favourites. In addition, users of the iPhone 3GS device can upload videos directly to Dailymotion from within the application.
An ad-supported version of the Dailymotion software is now available for free via Apple’s iTunes App Store, while an add-free premium version sells for $5.99.
