Chalk Launches Multimedia-Capable BlackBerry Pushcast Software

Research In Motion subsidiary, Chalk Media Corp., has released a new version of its ‘Pushcast’ software, allowing enterprise users to push audio and video content to BlackBerry smartphones.

Chalk Pushcast 5.4 supports deeper integration with BlackBerry Enterprise Servers, allowing for the transfer of multimedia files. It also features an updated media player, as well as SSL security encryption for all content.

Chalk director, Jody Glidden, said that enhanced integration between Pushcast and BlackBerry Enterprise Servers will enable “a truly secure, easy to manage solution for pushing impactful training, compliance, and corporate content to BlackBerry smartphones.”
