DAVE Wireless to Rebrand Ahead of Launch
4:00 pm on January 30, 2010 | Category: Business, Telecom Services, Wireless, CorporateAspiring cell phone carrier, DAVE Wireless, plans to rebrand itself in the coming days, in preparation for its impending launch.
The company says it will reveal its new name and logo at a press conference on Tuesday (February 2). It’s not yet clear if DAVE will also give a firm launch date for its wireless network, which is currently under construction in a number of Canadian cities.
DAVE is one of several new market entrants that purchased airwaves licenses from the Canadian government in 2008. Others include Globalive (aka WIND Mobile), which began rolling out services in December, and Public Mobile, which is expected to launch sometime this year.
