American mobile phone giant, Motorola, unveiled yet another Android-based smartphone yesterday at the much-publicized Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The Motorola Backflip will feature a 3.1-inch HVGA display and full QWERTY keyboard that folds out from behind the screen. Other features include built-in Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel digital camera, and Motorola’s one-stop social networking software, MotoBlur.

MotoBlur allows users to access a variety of social networking websites, including Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, from a single application.

“Since introducing our first MotoBlur-based device, we’ve remained focused on differentiating the Android experience,” said the CEO of Motorola’s Mobile Devices division, Sanjay Jha, in a statement. “Backflip maximizes the multi-tasking and multi-functional potential of MotoBlur.”
