Slacker Radio Now Available in Canada

Slacker Radio, a premium mobile radio service, has been made available to BlackBerry and Android smartphone users in Canada.

Slacker, which streams music to mobile phone users over a wireless data connection, is available at no cost on a 30-day free trail basis. After the trial expires, users have the option of paying $3.99/month for the ‘Slacker Plus’ service, which features ad-free listening, complete song lyrics, unlimited song skipping, and music requests.

All Slacker users have access to over 60 pre-programmed radio stations, and can create additional customized channels.
