Telus Mobility Refutes Motorola Milestone Rumour

Telus Mobility has effectively squelched a rumour that is plans to launch the much-anticipated Motorola Milestone device later this month.

Early last week, an anonymous tipster claimed that Telus would be launching the Milestone in Canada on January 26. The carrier denies this, however, stating that “Jan 26 is a rumor plain and simple,” and confirming only that the new smartphone will be available sometime in “early 2010.”

An American version of the Milestone, known as the Motorola Droid, has been available through Verizon Wireless since November 6.
