Verizon Wireless Preparing to Launch Motorola Droid Devour

Verizon Wireless has added Motorola’s forthcoming Droid Devour smartphone to its internal system and is expected to launch the device in the very near future.
The American carrier has begun programming the Droid Devour (codenamed ‘Calgary’) to work on its network, according to information leaked on AndroidCentral.com.
The Motorola Droid Devour will feature a horizontal sliding design with built-in QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad. It will run on Google’s Android 2.1 operating system and come equipped with the MotoBlur social networking platform from Motorola. Pricing information has not yet been released.
