Canada’s newest wireless carrier, Wind Mobile, plans to launch its service in Ottawa and Edmonton as early as February, and is already beginning to look for employees in those cities.

Wind, which is owned by Toronto-based Globalive Communications, has opened nine stores and 16 kiosks in Toronto and Calgary, and is reportedly planning its Vancouver launch in the near future. It currently employs some 700 Canadians and plans to hire an additional 600 as it expands across the country this year.
